The 71st republic day was celebrated with full enthusiasm at Shaheed major babber Chowk Sainik colony Jammu. The function was organized by Th. Jai Singh senior Congress leader. On this occasion a bike rally was also organized to spread awareness among people relating to republic day.

On this occasion, Th. Jai Singh greets their wishes to the people and said that on this day our constitution was written by Dr. B R Ambedkar and our constitution is most flexible in the whole world. He also Express that the people of J&K has welcome the scrapping of Art 370 and Art 35-A and with the scrapping of Art 370 and Art 35-A India has finally become one nation with one constitution.

 He also Express that there are certain sections of our society, who are instigating the youth for their personal reasons and they are also trying to divide the people on the basis of caste and religion. The society should avoid these kind of people and there should be peace and harmony among people.

He also express that the central govt should give the status of  state to the UT of J and K. Also, the assembly elections should be done as early as possible and delimitation of thestate should be done.
